I'm singing on my bike, just singing on my bike! That's what the sign is telling cyclists to do.

EuroVelo route 2 at Monster

Route signs and wooden bike stands by the beach - this is marked as EuroVelo route 2, although the direct route just inland is far faster and easier.

Some kind of bike recycling centre.

Not what we think of as a 'Dutch roundabout' - this has a two-way cycleway but only around half of the roundabout.

I'm not sure that is still the most obvious route to Rotterdam - there's a direct route east from the Stena terminal to nodal point 22.

Cycle route west from the Hoek van Holland ferry terminal and up the coast towards Den Haag.

The main cycle route east from Hoek van Holland towards Rotterdam

Route past the future Hoek van Holland Haven metro stop (right) towards the current stop (the former railway station, just out of sight to the left) and the Stena ferry terminal.

Cycle route down the main shopping street of Den Haag (The Hague)

The view from the top of a rare (and probably artificial) hill near the Maasluis flood control gates. Local racing cyclists love to ride up, then down this 'treat'.

Convertible space in a Class 321 train used on the Harwich branch - disappointing after several weeks travelling on German trains (although the seats do fold up).

  • Icon 153770 I am a resident of Cross Court, Denmark Hill Estate, and there is no public cycle stands or anywhere to keep our bikes inside the flat. The Cyclehoop locker is full.
  • Icon 153769 Pavements too narrow Cars in centre of he road dangerous to cycle
  • Icon 153768 As per 153,767
  • Icon 153767 Extend joint cycle / footpath from East Goscote to Rearsby by making the footpath joint use. If the path could be widened it would also have traffic calming measures
  • Icon 153766 Crossing three lanes on bike or walking when there is no "green man crossing" light is dangerous as light can change when you are halfway across and drivers here race off to be first. Crazy thing is there is plenty of time in light sequence to do this - why not done. Very bad for disabled people.
  • Icon 153765 Stop cars travelling down high street
  • Icon 153764 This permissive path needs a better surface and signs to encourage more cyclists to use it. It is a great safe cycle route into Ashby.
  • Icon 153763 No cycle racks on High St. Currently no room for them either although it's a perfect road to close to traffic or to reduce parking to one side only (if parking provision made elsewhere) then make it cycle friendly.
  • Icon 153762 Inadequate cycle rack provision all along Holton Rd. Suggest 3 sets at intervals from post office to Thompson st. Proper cycle racks where can lock frame, back and front wheel.
  • Icon 153761 Cycle route much needed
  • Icon 153760 How about a cycle path to join the river to the canal
  • Icon 153731 Having cycle stands at this location would incentivate cycling for local residents, and help the council keep this pavement clear of rubbish.
